These instructions are for installing the First Resort Software FoReSight Module. Please call First Resort Support for assistance if you feel uncomfortable with this procedure. Installation

1. Obtain the Foresight setup file. You may download it from the First Resort web site (file size is approximately 1.3 Megabytes), or you may request to have it sent to you on a floppy disk. The file name is FORE116.EXE.
2. The Foresight setup file is password-protected. If you are downloading the file from the First Resort web site, you will need to contact Support to obtain a password. This is most efficiently accomplished by emailing a request to support@firstres.com. If you received the file on diskette, the password will be printed on the diskette label.
3. If you are downloading the file, the file is located on the previous page, Software Version Downloads link from the First Resort Support home page. When downloading, pay attention to the folder to which the file is being downloaded.
4. Open the Windows Explorer program (Start > Programs > Windows Explorer) and navigate to the location of the Foresight setup file. If you downloaded the file it will be in the folder to which you downloaded it. If you obtained the file on diskette be sure the diskette is inserted into your PC and look in the item described as '3 1/2 Floppy (A:).'
5. Double click (right mouse button) the Foresight setup file. An introductory message will appear. Click on 'OK.'
6. When the Password dialog box appears, type in the supplied password. Note the password is case sensitive. Click on 'OK.'
7. The InstallShield routine is launched and a welcome box will appear. Click 'Next.'
8. Read the Warning message and click 'Next.'
9. Complete the User Information lines and click 'Next.'
10. A Destination Location box displaying the location to install the Foresight module will appear. The location defaults to F:\ACCOUNTS which is applicable in most cases. Your location may differ if you or your hardware vendor have chosen a different directory location for First Resort data files or if you have a Windows NT/2000 or Peer-to-Peer network and are performing this function from the server or host PC. If necessary, use the Browse button to navigate to the correct location of your First Resort data. Once the correct location is specified, click on 'Next.'
11. A Select Program Folder box will appear. Leave the folder name as First Resort Software and click on 'Next.'
12. Confirm the values which appear in the Start Copying Files box. Click 'Next.' Installation will proceed and the Program Folder will appear on your desktop.
13. Click on 'Finish' in the Setup Complete box.
14. If you wish to create a shortcut to Foresight on your Windows desktop, right-click on the Foresight icon in the Program Folder, left-click on 'Send To' and left-click again on 'Desktop.'
15. You may launch Foresight by double-clicking on your desktop shortcut, or by accessing the program from Start > Programs > First Resort Software > Foresight
