My Printer Won't Print in
First Resort
Have you tried printing in
other application programs? If your printer will not
print through other programs either, your problem is
either with the printer itself or, if your printer is a
part of your network, perhaps with the network's printer
setup functions. Don't forget to check the obvious stuff
like making sure there's paper in the printer and the
printer's ready or online light is illuminated. Try
turning the printer off and then back on; sometimes this
cures temporary problems in the printer's memory.
If your printer will print
through other programs, but not in First Resort, try
sending any report that won't print to the viewer
instead. If the report successfully goes to the viewer,
then your printing problem is external to First Resort.
You can try printing from the viewer by pressing 'P'
from the viewer screen. If the report still won't print,
this again suggests a problem with the printer or
network printer setup. If the report will not go to the
viewer, then there is some problem within First Resort -
please contact First Resort support with specific
information on the report you are experience problems
with including report title, choices made on the report
screen, and any specific error the messages you may have
encountered.
